About Us

Shri Sai Shastha Seva Sansthan (The 5S Trust) is a registered public charitable trust based in Pune, Maharashtra, committed to creating sustainable impact through environmental, educational, and rural development initiatives. Established on 4th January 2017 (Reg. No. E-7726-Pune), the Trust has continuously worked at the grassroots level, uplifting communities and promoting ecological balance.

Our key focus is on holistic rural development, and over the years, we’ve collaborated with Gram Panchayats, local communities, school children, and volunteers to carry out various initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods and preserving nature.

In the financial year 2023-24, the Trust successfully planted over 5,000 trees, including 1,200 saplings in Varkute Khurd (Ramkund) and Umbargaon village. These plantations involved wide community participation, emphasizing our belief in collective growth.

Looking ahead to 2025-26, our vision is deeply rooted in transforming Parinche village into a model for holistic rural development. Planned projects include:

Tiny Forest (Miyawaki Method): In collaboration with the Parinche Gram Panchayat, we aim to create dense, self-sustaining native forests in available village lands.

Water Conservation through De-silting: More than 50 bunds and water channels in Parinche will be de-silted to enhance rainwater harvesting and groundwater recharge before the monsoon of 2025.

High-Tech Farming Promotion: We’re preparing to introduce modern agricultural techniques in the Konkan belt, including pilot farming of pepper, cinnamon, and other spices.

Local Employment Opportunities: A proposal to establish a low-capital BPO/Call Centre in Parinche is in place to offer local employment and skill development opportunities.

With approvals under Section 80G for income tax exemption and MCA registration for CSR activities, the Trust is fully equipped to collaborate with individuals and institutions wishing to contribute to social change.

We invite you to become a part of our journey. Your support—financial, physical, or moral—can help us realize our vision of a self-reliant, sustainable rural India. Together, let’s plant the seeds of a better tomorrow.
